Had some professional factory-matched tint added to the truck today. Looks good, and I can feel a difference as far as heat inside the cab. It stays A LOT cooler inside now.

NICE!
we're only allowed 35% up front here in NC but i'm thinking about going darker. Just don't know how to get it through inspection. 35% looks silly against the factory tint.

If its matches the factory rear 'tint' than it should be around 18%. 15% is a better match though for the front because the front windshield lets in so much light, it will give anything less the appearance of being lighter.

Looks great. I got mine done about 2 weeks ago. Definitely worth it. I got 20% on both fronts

Mine is 15%...matches the rear windows perfectly.

And as far as 35% being illegal where you live, you should feel lucky...90% is illegal here. I don't speed, don't do anything crazy, so I figure I should be alright.

Looks good.

Do those vent visors stick to the rubber molding or the paint?

You know what, I can't remember entirely. I think it's part paint, part rubber molding. Either way, that adhesive would rub off paint no problem.

I bought the in-channel vent visors for my Ranger...and the glass at the top edge, about 1/4 inch, had big scratches in it after 2 years...so I ordered these ones for the F150.

Ohio Law...

Were only allowed 50% on the fronts here......I went 35% anyhow. It looks ok I think. Pics are in my gallery.

lol...Yeah, I meant that I had it professionally done, as opposed to doing it in my driveway, spending $20 on the tint, $20 on the tools to apply it, messing up, then spending another $20 on more tint, etc.

The factory-matched part just means simply that it matches the rear windows. It's not purple or blue or lighter or darker or anything like that.
