I'm Gonna Miss Her....

Yes, this is another "I'm getting rid of my F150" thread....

I'm not letting her go to get a Chevy, Nissan or Dodge. I'm letting her go because I'm forced to file chapter 13. I've done all I could to keep my family and I out of bankruptcy, but it hasn't been enough. Even while filing I've tried each and everything I could to keep my truck in the family. Unfortunately it just can't happen.

Over the last two weekends my father and I have pulled everything that made the truck "mine." It's amazing how much different they look when you pull the wheels & tires, add-a-leaf kits & blocks, etc. I pulled my OEM steps off the side over the weekend. I almost killed myself getting in last night! I've always used that step, and well... it wasn't there

The only good news is my father owns a white 2004 XLT SCab4.6L 2WD. It's a far cry from my DSG 2005 FX4 SCrew 4WD, but in times like this you take what you can. If it matters I'll still be around. One thing is for sure: as soon as I can, another F150 will join this family....

If there is ANY way around filing, short of selling your soul to the devil, then by all means do that! If not, I wish you the best of luck in getting back on your feet.
