New Guy's F150

I just had to share pics of my new ride. I traded in my 2004 Titan XE KC 4x4 for this 2007 F150. So far I have no regrets. It has been a whole 24 hours already. It is Plain Jane compared to some of the rides I've seen on here. Thanks for tolerating another FNG showing pictures of his F150. If the pics are too large, forgive me. This is the first time I have ever tried to post pictures.

I believe all the 4x4's have the bigger engine.

If you look in his profile it says in his signature that he has the 5.4L, however he didn't include his sig in his post.But.... I don't know for sure if his Titan had the 5.6 or not.

NASSTY,

The 5.6L is a beast, plain and simple. The motor seems like it has a lot more torque. In my opinion, the F150 is better in other areas like the brakes, smooth riding, and quiet inside. the 5.4L in my opinion it is not a slug. The truck feels more substantial to me as well (fenders, bumpers, etc. feel stronger). The paint on my Titan chipped very easy and I had some small areas of rust starting in my fender wells that I had to get rid of. To be honest, that really bothered me. I had never had that problem with a vehicle before because I take good care of them. It may have just been a fluke, I don't know. I have nothing bad to say about the ole Titan, it served me well but the F150 fits my needs better.

Thanks,my nephew has an 04 Titan and someday we're going to see how a stock 5.6 Titan does against a modded 5.4 F150.The problem is he uses it for a work truck and usually nearly 1000lbs of tools and equipment in the bed and a track rack on it.So we haven't been able to have a grudge match yet.

Nice truck! I agree very much with what you stated that the F-150 is a better rig in many different areas! One of my co-workers has a Titan, I looked at this truck, heck I even test drove one, the only thing I liked about it was the 5.6 engine, I thought the sheetmetal was like a aluminun beercan, the axles, leaf springs, & frame are quite puny compared to the F-150, Heck even the oil filter is a peanut! I know I made a much better choice with the F-150,.....Welcome to the family!........& enjoy the Modding......
