I never said it was family pricing, it's a regular incentive. The family pricing is kind of like an x-plan, but better.

You may already know this, but if you price your truck on Edmunds.com and take a print out to the dealership, they will match the invoice or tmv price. With incentives, you can get a good deal. I paid almost $9,000 below sticker price.

Must just be north of the border right now. Ford's running the "Family Pricing" deal in Canada.

So it is... I just went to the Ford Canada website, and sure enough, Family Pricing is back... Wonder if/when it's coming back to the US..??..

I saw on a commercial that they were calling it a year end clearance. Cars are becoming like christmas, the year ends earlier every year. I got my 06 xl last october with a/c for $14000 out the door at 0% for 60 months with no money down. I had some left over loan money on my ranger to flip but at 0% it was better than keeping my high milage ranger.

NEWS FLASH...

They have been doing this sort of stuff for 20+ years

mid July through labor day is the best time to buy the current model year because they have the combination of the best inventory and best incentives

if you wait later, your choice of inventory is MUCH lower

If you wait too long, you get killer deals on the current model year, but may not be able to get the package or color you want

But this is not news, and you people complaining about resale value, get over yourselves, its an american vehicle, they have no resale value

Wow dude! Who pi$$ed in your cornflakes this morning? Nobody is allowed to have an opinion? That's kind of what forums like this are based on, in case you didn't realize that. I know North American vehicles don't hold their value, I don't have to like it.

Quick question: With the 0% APR AND cash back, would you think Ford would go off of invoice instead of sticker? I was able to do that with Nissan, just dont know how Ford is. I know Chevy used invoice a lot with the quotes from them, but Toyota and Honda just look at you like your stoned for asking.

I had the option of doing invoice + 0% with the $2007 rebate or doing invoice with my own financing (5.6%) with the $2007 rebate and another $1500 rebate. When it was all said and done, I had $6500 off the sticker price.

does anyone know if it is 0%APR for 36months or 60? Or does it vary? I'm looking at one site and it says for 36 months.

I think its for 60 months right now...hold out another couple months and they should be offering 0% for 72 months again (thats what I have my truck financed at.) I think when they do we (me and my wife and my parents) may buy 4 new ones...2 F150s and 2 Expys.

It is 0% for 36 months plus 2007 cash then it jumps to 1.9 for 48 mo, 2.9 for 60 and 3.9 for 72 months

A couple dealerships around here have the truck that I am looking for with the $2007 cash back + another $1500 rebate. I can get x-plan through my wife's work so this seems pretty good. But, I hate to buy it now and then in two months they have $4-5k cash back. Anyone think this may happen or is this the last big hoorah of the year?
