Lets see:

step 1: return truck to dealer
step 2: purchase 4x2 truck
step 3: lower

Any questions?

For a more educated response, I believe Ground Force makes a 2/4 drop for your truck, or if you want DJM makes a 3/5 drop for the 4wd. Now if your truck had a factory lift block, you will need the lift hangers as well from DJM or it will sit too low in the back. Good luck with the truck, and lifted trucks are for the guys that cannot get laid!!

Educated response WTF!! Watch out guys we have an Ivy Leaguer here.

The educated and rational thing would have been to buy a truck that wasn't a 4X4 to lower if that was his intention of doing in the first place.

But whatever your money anyways do as you please.

How do you figure, do you know anything about him?? We lower alot of 4x4 pickups for handicapped people who need the reliability in the winter of a 4x4 but cannot get into the truck because it sits higher, so before you act like an ***, maybe ask why he is lowering it. He asked who made a kit for his 4x4, not please can you tell me I am an idiot for wanting to lower my 4x4. Cmon man!

I had a 2000 Offroad lowered with the 2" rear block and a torsion arm adjustment. It leved the truck out as well as dropping it enough that people noticed.........Had a pretty good stance with 20"s and 245/50 all around.

are you serious!?!? you have got to be the dumbst man alive if you think that lowering a 4x4 so a handicapped person can get in it easier so that he can have a better handleing truck in the winter is retarded

but back to the question im a strong believer in djm products they are made for both 4x2 and4x4

I agree with you with you azmidget91.

Sorry but you two *** clowns are mentally handicapped yourself. My best friend's father is in a wheel chair because hes paralyzed from the chest down. So would it be retarded for him to lower it? .. especially considering he owns a fernery so 4wd would be pretty nice for towing through the sand.

Have you ever seen a truck launch in 4WD at the drag strip as well? Sorry but you guys are idiots, flat out.

Its amazing how some of you act so superior. Get a life. If somebody wants to raise a 4x2, then so be it. If somebody wants to lower a 4x4, then so be it. Obviously the person has a need/want to do either one. Get off your high horse.

So it's retarded for a handicap person to need a 4x4 that they can get into? Why is that? Because they don't have any intentions of offroading in it, but have full intentions on driving it in the winter time, possibly in ice and snow? Or is it retarded because they are handicapped and shouldn't be driving?

Some of you people on here amaze me with your mentality. Yes I may be new to the forum and may not know you, but just by your comments it's not hard to decide what kind of person you are.

Chris

80% of people who own 4X4 trucks these days do not off-road with them (I will try to find that reference source). But if you want the security blanket of 4-wheel drive (which millions of Subaru and SUV/UV drivers seems to want) but you know you won't see anything bigger than a curb or speed bump; why not lower it? The lowered vehicle could theoretically handle better and might even gain some aerodynamic advantage. Lifting a vehicle and adding oversized tires can seem just as ridiculous to many.
