Price of Rancho lift

I just went to my local truck shop and he told me that it would be $2,500 for the lift and install. How does that sound? Is it too high?

That's about $800 for the install. The Rancho kit can be had for around $1700 including RS9000X shocks. IMO that price is too high.

rockymountainsusp.com has it for $1500, but after shipping it'll be more. installation is always several hundred, but ive heard that the rancho kit isnt as hard to install as some of the others, so if your somewhat handy maybe give it a go, save some bucks.

I agree with installing it yourself if you are mechanically inclined.

I'm by no means a mechanic, but I know how to turn wrenches pretty good. I was able to install the Rancho lift by myself on jackstands in my garage with only hand tools. Took me a few evenings to complete, but I learned a lot and it feels pretty good knowing you installed it yourself

If you want, email me and I'll send you the install instruction so you can look them over.
