Got some new pics of the CB antenna mount and of dads truck with 35x12.50/18s. Mine is the white truck, dads is the green one. The 1998 f-150 got 190,000 miles on it!! Still running strong.

The loudest whistle comes from those who believe the Conf. Flag is a shameful reminder of slavery and segregation.... read: racism. Probably one of the reasons why, in 2000, the South Carolina state senate passed a bill to remove the Confederate flag from the top of the statehouse dome.
The Conf. Flag has also been approved and appropriated by the Ku Klux Klan and other racist hate groups.
According to the Southern Poverty Law Center based in Montgomery, AL more than 500 extremist/hate groups in the US use the "Southern Cross" as one of their symbols.
Of course, there's a flip side to every coin.
But hey, WTF would I know. I'm just a legal alien resident.
Anyway, I don't want to hijack the thread - Rock doesn't like that - so I'll let it go here.
Nice trucks. Decent antenna mount location, I do wonder how low the SWRs can be with the base of the antenna below the top of the toolbox though...
The 35x12.50s look mighty sweet on your dads rig.
On the CSA flag issue, I am not a native southerner, so I don't get the whole CSA flag thing, I personally don't see the CSA flag as a symbol of racism. But I don't see it as a symbol of "heritage" either. I see it as a symbol of failure. Why on earth would anyone want to hang a flag that screams woo hoo! we lost!?
And to be blunt, the CSA flag is one of those things too often seen on pickups, like Truck Nutz, that get middle of the road voters turned somewhat against us as pickup drivers, in favor of whatever the communists want... So be careful with the impression you leave with the public about pickup trucks and their owners. We don't want to give the California Commie types any more ammunition to take away our liberties...
Anyway, like I said, I am not a native southerner, so I probably shouldn't be expected to get it...
