Its not as fancy as alot of the trucks here but I traded.I traded my 2005 Scab 4x4 Silver STX for a 2007 dark shadow Scab 4x4 STX.My 05 only had 9,000 miles on it and the dealer gave me a good trade in.On the web the truck came in around 18K on trade and the dealer gave me 21k.The new truck has the power options I could not get on my 05 when I got it and I wont have to swap the bumper on this one for fogs.They even removed all my aftermarket stuff for free the same day.They removed the radio,amp,all amp wires and tires.I had the stock parts to give them at home.They even swaped the silverstar bulbs to the new truck.The new truck sticker was 32K and the final price with tax and all was 21K.I think I did well on the deal.The new one has a 3.55LS and the old one was a 3.73LS and I can tell the diff when I hit the go pedal.I had the windows on the new one tinted with 5% all around the day I got it and placed the order for another autospring kit.The 285 toyos and autospring will be installed as soon as the autospring gets here.At this point I am looking for a cat back,the 05 had a flowmaster on it and Im looking for another option.There are a few things I noticed so far.....
The seats in the new seem to be covered in a softer material.The 4.6 looks different for some reason,it looks like a much smaller engine than the 05.The intake tube and air box are diffrent.The 07 has an extra bellow on the intake tube the 05 did not have.The splash shields I had under the hood of the 05 are not on the 07.The brake dust seems worse to me,with 21 miles on the new truck the front wheels are nasty with dust.I may do some form of new pads next week to stop that.The radio has a plug in the top center of the dash for an mp3 player to link with the radio.
So far the only complaint is the gap between the upper and lower sections of the front bumper but that is an easy fix.My friend asked me why I got another STX when for a few grand more I could have an XLT.I like the painted bumpers and no carpet.If I add carpet and a few little things inside most would think it was an XLT.All in all not a bad deal or truck and now I can do the mods all over and and now that I have done before I should get better results this time.I will get some pics up when it stops raining every day.

Off to look for a floor console on ebay...........

Wow, most dealers seem to get bashed around here for one reason or another. Seems like you found a great one, removed your aftermarket stuff and swapped it to your new one and everything? That's awesome, you should give that dealer some props! We need to know not just the bad experiences, but the extra good ones as well.

 

get the Magnaflow SIDO catback. It sounds great and their quality is top notch.

 

Well it was chapman ford in horsham PA they are the ones who owned smarty jones the horse.Only floor console on ebay is 250 bones....Boooooo....
I cant find a catback I like....

 

That's the beauty of owning a F150... there is soo much you can do... you don't know what you like or want...
