New Wheels, Tires, Brakes and Shocks Installed with Pics!
Today spent about 6 hours in the garage putting all my new stuff on my truck. Installed new rear shocks, replaced front shocks in the struts, new rotors and pads all around and finally put on my new wheels and tires. For being a rookie wrencher, I think I did pretty good. Very rewarding to do it yourself. Here's some pics:
It's been raining here pretty much non stop, so apologize for the dirt

No lift or leveling kit. The new tires are Nitto Terra Grappler 285/65R18 replacing the stock BFG 275/65R18. They look more aggressive and complement the wheel nicely I think. I'm running 45psi in the tires. Does that sound about right? No rubbing issues, except I had to trim my front mud flaps a little.
Struts were a bit of work to take apart, but the rear shocks were simple. Front rotor and pad replacement also a little more complicated than the back. If you're going to change your rear rotors out, make sure you have a big hammer to loosen up the rotor.
I'm finally taking the time to do my own vehicle maintenance, so I am pretty proud of completing this project today.
Hope you guys like!

looks good, if you dont mind me asking where did you but the rims and tires? My factory tires are about to be gone and i need something nice but still agressive and i might change the rims as well? Thanks in advance
Wouldnt happen to have a side shot of the whole truck, would you?
Im liking that setup, might have to do something like that myself.

I'll try to get a side shot for you sometime soon.
I got the rotors and pads from autopartswarehouse.com Some people have had problems with them, but no issues here. They were a little more than Powerslots. I think for all 4 rotors and pads it came to about $650.

nice set up you got!
I was told that terra grappler 285/65/18 is almost same as 275 65 18, just wonder if its true.
Mind you please measure from ground to top of your tire?
45psi seems too much air in it...maybe low it to 37ish ??

Correct me if I am wrong, but working it out, the 285/65R18 is equal to 32.56 inches X 11.22 inches and the 275/65R18 is 32.06 inches X 10.8 inches. So the 285s are a half inch taller and wider.
