Time for new brakes-HELP

My search turned up an unlimited number of results to sort through. I need new brake pads for my truck. I'm tired of the squeaking and brakedust that I've dealt with since day 1. What is the best set of brakes for the money?

I dont know why everyone has had bad luck with the motorcraft pads.. I have never had any issues with mine, and just replaced my original pads with a new set of motorcraft... I do have some brake dust, but I have never had any squeaking..

Akeanbo (sp?) seems to work pretty good for our trucks. I do like the EBC pads though, I just installed a set on our Mini Cooper S. No more brake dust, squeaked for a day and they broke in and we couldn't be any happier with a set of pads. I also recomend Hawk pads, I've got them on my 1965 Mustang and couldn't be happier with them either.

Carquest blue metallics here. Little brake dust, no noise, decent stopping power for the price.

Thanks guys! I thought there was one brake pad name that I remembered seeing over and over a while back but I can't remember it. Oh well. I'll take a look at a few of these.
