Nice, I have a chrome white thing going too. I just did my fuel door yesterday. Not wanting to go overboard I had mine painted. (copied this mod from Austin83)

Yeah, had my choice with in-channel ones or not, and heard some bad things about them and personal experience with their installation and the window seal. So I decided against them and just went with the outer ones. So far I like it after a few days, and don't regret the choice.
