Transmission Broke

Well I was driving home 2 nights ago and I feel the transmission doing some weird stuff. So I let my foot of the gas and I was watching as the rpm's go up and red line the engine. I then pull over and on the message center "transmission fault" comes up. So then im driving home and it keeps missing the gear and red lining without my foot on the peddle. Well now I just called the tow truck and they are on the way to come get it from my house.

Has anyone else had this problem before?

My tranny went out at 2500 miles. No warning. I started hearing some grinding noises one night and when I stopped and put it in reverse it never moved out of its tracks. The dealer came and got it and rebuilt it. They said it was a snap ring that came off and allowed the gears to mesh at the wrong time. I tried to get them to put a new one in it but they wouldn't budge. A mechanic said that the rebuild was better because of a upgrade they would have added. Go 20000 on it now and it is running fine.

MAC 20587, Deep Finned Trans Pan

Try A MAC / 20587 AODE/4R70W Deep Finned Trans Pan. It Holds 3 More Quarts Of ATF Than The Stock FX4 Trans Pan. I Just Put Mine On Last Week With 8-QUARTS REDLINE D4 ATF & Wix 58955 Trans Filter. The Transmission Temp Never Went Over 170 (Towing Rocks & 4 ATV'S) The AODE/4R70W Transmission Pan Is The Same As The 4R75W Bolt Pattern.
