What did you pay to have leather installed?
So for all of you that decided to pay to have your leather installed to your seats how much did you pay? I have OEM leather ready to get put in my super cab and the leather shop here wants to charge 500 clams. Is that price steep?
I am not going to do it myself, so just curious what the non-do it yourself installers paid. Thanks.

When I checked at a local shop to have my leather installed, they told me $450 and that they'd need the truck for a couple of days. I just did it myself. Took about five hours. It's pretty easy, just time consuming.

Well I sucked it up and had my leather installed today. Dropped off at 9am and picked it up at 3pm. Very happy and they feel like they are more padded then the cloth ones. Yes I paid 500 bones but screw it I'm happy with the outcome and look
FYI the cloth covers are now up for grabs in the classifieds

Post your pics, but keep the cloth...
I am aching to get my hands on a set of FULL leather covers, in two tone.
Too bad you decided to cough out the cash. I would have done that for you for that kind of scratch...

. So I have been plenty busy and for me the price was worth the conveniance. As Marty Robbins sang, "out in the west, Texas town of El Paso..."
Very nice looling truck. I don't know why but I had visions of the leather looking aftermarket or kind of shabby with seams not linning up or something. If I didn't know it wasn't done in Kansas City I never would have guessed!! Very nice
Looks great! They did a superb job!
I actually worked my way through college in an upholstery shop. These types of jobs are the fun, clean, easy jobs. $500 seems a little steep, but if you are happy, that's all that matters (and it appears they did an excellent job). Enjoy, and don't let them get too hot in El Paso!
