Any tips for AVS vent shade installation?

I got a set and they seem like a snap to install, except for the little black plastic clips.

I had AVS's on my two previous Rangers but I don't think they had these clips.

Anyone have any tips?

Thanks!

In channel or out. I have the out of channel mount AVS and there were no clips. There were tabs taht simply slid into the channel by the mirror, other than that, make absolutely certain your mating surface is clean and dry. Use rubbing alcohol and lots of if to clean the surface, then mount them up...

I have the in-channel ones. It was just brute force. Didn't catch where you live but here in the desert I would of let those babies sit out in the sun for a bit, then put them in.

Time and patience is all you need. But do let them sit in the sun for a bit. Should be a lot easier to get them in those clips.

I didn't use those black clips. I just inserted them in the channel rolled the windows up and let is set a while before I used the window. They are just wedges to hold the visors in place and are supposed to be removed before use IIRC.
