Is it possible to install the Fabtech 6" lift with the DL coilovers and set them to provide a little less than 6" of lift? Like say 4-5" range?

No, simple as that You have a range of 6 1/2-around 10". Even with the coilovers not cranked and 5" block I have a squatting truck. Getting 2" blocks in the rear and 2.5" spacer up front. You can see this in my sig.

Ok thanks.

The squatting rear end isn't my concern... it's my garage door height.

Nope uncranked is uncranked, also that would put a strain on your arms just like haveing a leveling kit but in the up direction not the down like a leveling kit
