Can I buy just a bottom seat cushion?

The only problem with my 2005 XLT Scab 4x4 is that the driver's seat cushion is getting lumpy, where my butt slides across the left-most portion.

I was able to pull up the seat covering in the front but I can't get my hand far enough between the cloth covering and foam to smooth it out.

Can I buy just the bottom cushion, and how hard is it to install?

Yes About $75 at your local dealer. All you have to do is take the seat out and then take the bottom part off and then recover the foam. I've got pics in my gallery...

mmm

I was hoping to be able to buy the cushion, that is foam and outer cloth covering, as one piece, and bolt it in. Not possible?

The cushion and the cover are two seperate items, and you can buy them both. the cover is attached to the cushion with hogrings and then it is clipped to the frame.

If you buy a seat cushion get on from a 2007 the foam is softer, compared to the harder foam they used in 2005. Mines terrible and should be replaced too.

MIne is worn out too. My truck only a little over 3yrs old with only 42,000 miles.

Guess I should lose a little weight. LOL

I think all of you need to loose some weight.
If you do go with the 07 cushion let us know how much better it feels.

Off topic, but where did you get the different headlights, i.e. the ones with the dark back as opposed to the chrome looking ones? How much? What do I ask for to get them?

thanks
