For the way I see itis that if I can get to 300 rwhp n/a then toss on a blower for another 90-100 hp gain then I'm sitting pretty.

Later...

The thing is, as has been said before, a lot of the things you put on to get that 300 rwhp will have to come off for the blower...

My AF1 (3.5") and underdrive pulleys are in the garage collecting dust...tunes are gone as well...

Like the other members said, I think it's a waste to put so much effort trying to get to 300 hp, and when you get there (or "if" you get there), you'll just want more...at that point, you'd need a supercharger...could use a lot of your mods like headers and exhaust system though..

I had 255rwh with a K&N drop in and a set of Pace setter long tubes into 3" cats into a 2.5" x-pipe then 2.5" DI/DO magnaflow muffler. I later bought the AF1 and Troyer tunes but never got it re dynoed before i put the SC on. It did run really strong and towed my 6000lb boat pretty good. I would look at the mods that you could use with a super charger and jusst stick with them.
LT headers
True duel exhaust
electric water pump
electric fans
go a head a get a custome tune from Troyers that way you will already have the flash programer and all you will need will be updated tunes when you get the SC.

I think my truck is a freak. .

I'm making 241 rwhp & 301 ft/tq with a dyno tuned Xcal2, S&B CAI, and true duals with Flowmaster Original 40s. I'm on 37s with the factory 3.73 gears as well. I know I'm also losing power with the Flowmasters.

Best answer so far MeanGene.

You can make 300RWHP with add ons but that will cost you more than a Super Charger.

I make 250 on 87 octane with Mikes Xcal2, AF1, and Magnaflow exhaust. I am only running a 35" tall tire.....HOWEVER, in 3 short weeks the ROUSH goes on.......
