Much better now. No more noisy engine that knocks and bangs like a diesel. Couldn't be more pleased with the fact that I put an extended warranty. The repair cost $1000. Half the price of my warranty. No more noisy idle. Hopefully it will stay quiet now. I'm just glad the noise is gone and my truck doesn't sound like POS when I pull up to the bank drivethru.

 

I just had mine done recently, first one side and then the other when i still heard a knock. Now my truck sounds like it did when i bought it, instead of like an old garbage truck. Glad everthing worked out for you too.

 

Thanks, I'm glad it worked out too. They replaced both sides for me as well. I bought it making that noise ( wasn't worried since I researched it here). I'm just happy to have a quiet idle.
