Anyone who puts a blower on their truck and still worries about mileage is a little crazy. I can already tell mine is gonna be crap for a little while.

I didn't realize that whine was that addicting untill it was my own vehicle making that sound! LOL

I don't see why it would change. While cruizing at 75, there is basically ZERO boost in the intake manifold. It all gets bypassed through the boost bypass valve.

I was getting around 18-19 highway before... thats with "28.5" tires and 4.10 gears. I still expect around 16-17 with the blower.

I don't know man! I can promise your 35" tires weigh more than my 28" tires. Rolling mass and aerodynamics are alot harder on MPG's.

I have a bed cover.. electric fans... and I usually drive about 70MPH on the highway... sometime less.

I measured my frequent 1.5 hour trip in minutes one time. I drove 75 once and 65 another time. I made it there 12 mins faster at 75 than 65 and burned a HELL of alot more gas.

Alot of factors.

I have never really been too concerned about MPG's. I always tested over 3-4 tanks out of curiosity, but it never really meant anything to me. I drive a pickup truck. It isn't meant to get good gas mileage. It's meant to slap a blower on and spank mustangs. And absolutely spank the crap out of Hemi trucks!

Anyways, thats fixed and it runs like a raped ape.

My upper pulley is 2.7" with stock other pullies. I'm guess it's around 7.5 -8 PSI. Might be why the blower is soo loud.

I'll try to get my boost guage working tommorow. I got the fitting I needed today. I put the pedal all the way down a couple of times this afternoon. Slight, slight pinging in the HIGH Rpms. Apparently, that sensor was causing problems with too much timing or somthing... that's my guess anyways.

It's running good for now.
Man, my wife is going to KILL YOU! lol
Guess it's time to order a super charger kit! I just got the word from my dealer truck should be in around July 28th.

That is just crazy at only 8 psi!!! I have a video somewhere of a certain 03 HD truck with a Whipple running 16-17 psi. Let me see if I can find it and post it up. Very similiar.

Later...
Bruce

Here's a Whipple on an 03 HD truck at idle and revving a couple of times.

Here is the same truck from a 3 mph roll on an 80* day.
