Suspension Proving Ground.....LOL @ Tundra!

I don't mind the new Tundra's so much, but I don't think this footage will show up in any Toyota promotional ads! The Silverado did OK, but it looked like a handfull for the driver to handle and there was lots of stuff moving around and shaking. The F-150 looks considerably easier to control. Nowhere near as much violent shaking, and everything looks a lot more solid. It's refreshing to see something like this.

I have noticed that the 07 F150s have a redesigned set of rear fender braces to help get rid of the bed shakes.

toyota and chevy fans will complain that they used a chevy z71 crewcab short box vs. a tundra ext. cab(not their crewmax) vs a ford lariat crewcab(with a 6.5 bed) if ford reshot this with a fx4 screw with the shortbox and it performed the same, then it would be a great commercial.

I don't have any pics yet. I have some things to do tonight. If that doesn't take too long I will try to take some and post them.

I was thinking the same thing. I don't think its a problem other than theres some play in the bed sides the way they're made. I was considering dropping over a grand in a fiberglass lid just to fix this problem! This would be a lot cheaper, I'm sure.
