Stock Height Replacment shocks???
Stock Height Replacment shocks???
Anybody got any ideas for good replacement shocks for a 2wd that will maintain my stock height? I was rotating my tires and replacing my brakes today and noticed where the tires were rubbing the inside upper wheel wells. I had noticed they seem to be bottoming out recently on major dips in the road but didnt realize it was that bad. Its just started recently so I would assume it has to be the shocks are worn out. If I have to go through the trouble of changing them I want to get some good ones. So whats out there???
BTW 39,500 miles on the truck 99% of that turning 24s (and more importantly stopping) and the stock front brakes still had over half the pad left and the rears 1/3 left. Not too bad at all IMO!

I can tell you what everyone is going to tell you Bilsteins have a 0 lift option on them. If it were me id go bilsteins for your truck, I though they handled to stiff for me but your going for that sporty handling and those 24 have to be heavy so the added stiffness might work well for you. You mind telling me what your 24's cost? just rims, pm me if you like

I bought my 24s back in 2004 when 24s were still fairly new/rare and still very expensive. I paid $750 each for mine, but now they are much cheaper. I really want some black ones...if your intersted in these PM and I will make you a deal on them! Seriously.
Anybody have a link to best place to buy a set of Bilstiens???
the 5100 ones are adjustable, you pick the lift. Yeah if I go 24 I think I would want black too. Ive got this itch to do something to my truck but dont know what and 24's on 37's has been on my head for awhile. The tires are 2k so id be looking around 4k to do this huh? Back to your question a lot of people use summit I think when I got mine I went to performanceproducts.com or something like that

I have GOT to do somthing in the rear of my truck. I have about 1.25" of suspension travel in the rear. Looking toward some air shocks, but nobody around here sells them for cheap.
I might get shocks all around. I'll look into Bilstiens for the front too. Maybe QA1's
