looks better than the nostril hood. doesn't really fit the theme of your truck..... come to think of it your truck doesn't really have a theme

I think that hood looks like garbage. I'd suggest finding a different one. I really don't care for cowl induction hoods, every other vehicle out there has some sort of cowl induction hood.

on a different note, what's a good company that makes hoods that actually fit and aren't made of cardboard? when i had my stang, cervinis' was highly spoken of and my cobra R hood fit flawlessly and latched without question. the body guy said it took a minimal amount of prep as well. i looked on their website, and all they have are ghey nostril-style hoods. anywhere else to look?

keep in mind that aftermarket hoods are actually ALOT heavier. aluminum(factory) vs steel

The really cool hoods are the functional ram air but I've heard you have to do a hell of a lot of tuning to use them. I personally like the cowl hood cause it would help pull some cool air into the engine bay.

wouldnt be too worried about adding maybe 30 lbs to a 6000lb truck if it made it look that much better but seems every hood for these trucks is hideous. What happened to a good ol regular cowl hood without all these scoops and crap.
