dont worry about the old geezers cowgirl.

check your owners manual and paperwork and see what the warranty is on your paint and stuff. i think you might be out of luck though, which is unfortunate......they should at least treat you with some respect, even if they arent going to fix it. there is no reason a 2004 should have the paint peeling off, and they know that, but its all about the bottum line.....

Roof peeling

I have a white 2001 F150 and my roof is peeling the same way. It comes off in big flakes and there's a dull white undercoat. I too am arguing it with Ford without much success.

A 2001 vehicle, I doubt Ford will do anything to fix your problem.

I have the same issue but around the wheel wells, and the gas cap... The front bumper looks like hell, but that's to be expected since I drive over 50 miles a day to, and from work. I recently bought the paint kit for mine since I do body work, and paint work on airplanes. It's a pain though because when the back half of my truck got hit by a deer back in February, the body shops said that even though the truck was 10 years old, they were amazed at how many rust spots were on it. I'm in the process of fixing all of them, then, I'm gonna get it glazed just before winter to help minimize the effects of the road salt, etc...
