Rubber Cup Holder - Excuse me...you said how much?

Hey Guys,

So I am some how missing one of the two rear rubber cup holder insert in my 2005 F150 Supercrew with the center console.

I called the dealer and they said it was $15 for just one rubber cup holder insert!

Granted $15 isn't a lot of money, but if I started over paying everyone for every last thing...I'd be a poor man by the end of the week.

So does anyone know where I can find a cheaper one of these rubber cup holder inserts? I know a junk yard is the first response, but there are no 04-Present F150s in junk yards that are in my area.

Duke

PM me if you're interested.

Hmm. . $15 for that part isn't a lot of money considering supply and demand. I doubt that they sell very many of them. If you want to find a part that is expensive and shouldn't be than, look how much that rubber dash tray is above your radio, than you'll be glad to pay $15 for your cup holder.

It always amazes me how much the stealers charge for over the counter parts. As an example. I wanted the bed extender when we bought our truck but the one I found didn't have it installed from the factory. Its a $195 option. I called the parts dept. and they wanted $465 for the exact same item!! At first I thought it had to be some kind of different piece as it was so much more expensive. It was the same thing though and they weren't to interested in how much of a rip off I informed them they were. I bought a slightly used one the next day off ebay for $160 shipped..

Some parts are expensive, but $15 isn't unreasonable.

And yeah $15.25 for the smaller rear one.

Yeah my local parts guy said, "Well I hate to be the one to say this to you, but at least they're not asking for your first born."
