Labor on a body lift is around $500. Labor on a Rize 8" is around $700-800. Labor on gears is around $600. Plus you got everything else and you're already over $10,000 with the labor on those three things. Good luck.
Yeah if labor is that much then I think ill just let my parents pay for it... or pay half. I think it will all be worth it in the end though... Also how much did you pay for your rear driveshaft?

I think around $300. I wouldn't get it unless you need it to get rid of a vibration in your driveline. There have been plenty of people who don't need it and some people who do need it. Just wait to see. .

Oo believe me with all the money im already dishing out I really dont want to spend anymore on a driveshaft . I just wanted to know incase I run into problems so I know how much ill need to spend.

And I think since im paying close to $10,000 and workin my butt off that it wont hurt if mommy and daddy help pay for the labor. haha... but they are getting me a programmer. Xcal2 or Edge and also CAI. I do plan on paying them back though because I dont like to have stuff handed to me... rather work for it!

Im actually talking to a guy right now that is trying to get the Rize 12" kit on preorder for me. Im still waiting to hear back from him... So hopefully ill be able to do that!

But im getting the kings for like $2000. Its not an amazing deal but its pretty good.

Yeah I know its ALOTTT of money... but if your going to build a sweet truck then why not do it right by getting the good quality and safest parts.

i was just going to mention this to you. if you want 12-13" of lift, wouldn't it make more sense to go straight for the 12" suspension? i'm not sure what the price difference is between the 8" and 12", but if you figure the cost + labor of installing the body lift, i would think you'd come out even and wouldn't have to stack lifts. you'd have to get the D/S and brake lines, but it sounds like you already figured for that anyways.

When can we expect this to come though? It seems like really big plans I want to see if this is really going to go though. My money says right when its time to do it, his parents wont let him, to big and unsafe. I know some kids that talked big big plans then a few months later saw them and asked whats up and both kids said their parents wont let them now too unsafe.

.... Who ever said my parents had any say in this? Because I sure didnt!! I pay the bills... I pay for the parts... I decide if its unsafe.. not my parents! I guess we will just have to see then wont we!
