so i was putting on my auto spring and
ya the worst happened, i pinched on of the lines that engages my 4 wheel drive..... gave it a temporary fix but still pretty pist... quick question for you guys who have this kit and a 6in. on as well, do you get alot of rubbing on your coil?
6 inch lift AND the autospring? I can't see that even working on my truck. A buddy and I just installed a 6" lift on my truck and I had to reroute the vacuum lines for the hubs. Plus I had to use the brake relocation brackets and my truck is a 04. I don't think and additional 2" of lift would of been remotely possible here.
Clarify your question a little bit. Tires rubbing, lines rubbing?

The 4 wheel drive is engaged through the transfer case which turns the front driveshaft. I have no idea what line you would be talking about while you're putting on a leveling kit. Only lines even around there are the brake and
ABS line. Vacuum line is somewhat around there but shouldn't be in the way.

on the passenger side right next to the 3 bolts that hold the spacer is where one of the lines runs that sends air to lock the hub... while tightning it down we pinched it not knowing... so there was a leak which was causing the 4 wheel drive to come in and out of 4 wheel drive... very horrible sound.... got the line replaced though so all is good
Just so everyone knows, these trucks have vacuum actuated hubs on the front. Another wonderful idea from Ford.

Vacum hubs are nothing new... I'd rather deal with an occasional leak then have to get out in lousy sloppy, muddy weather to manually engage the hubs...
