I got mine from ebay for like $30. I used just two sensors (instead of four), is wireless to the cab and it works fine. Just make sure you waterproof the hell out of the "brain" that will sit behind the bumper (ziplock bags, duct tape, etc).

Sounds like what im looking for, i prefer only 2 sensors. Do you remember the sellers ID on ebay? And where did you mount the sensors? did you drill into the bumper or the plastic area..thanks

tg150, I sent you an email regarding all you have asked. For the price that you will pay (around $45 w/shipping), you will not be disappointed!

I wonder if being lifted it will be as effective? Also, I wonder how good those LCD screens look and how big they are. I wouldn't mind molding it into my dash somewhere. Any location ideas?

You'd have to put it as low as possible, I believe it sensors kinda like a straight line out. I really like the lcd window. Its off until you put the truck in reverse, where the power wires are tapped into, than mine lights up green until you get within 3 meters (they are in meters if made in China) when it turns red. So that's how my $45 dollar sensors work.

In that case I should get the audible product instead. Sometimes you need those 3 meters to back up in (think parallel parking). I wish there was an option like the bmw 745i's have. It looks like a heatvision monitor of it's surroundings, on all sides of the car. You just cannot back into anything with that system.

Just put behind the bumper there are a few brackets that you can zip tie it too or duct tape, whatever works for you. Just make sure you waterproof it good!

Got my sensor kit today,I'm excited to hook it up! Can you tell me which fuse you ran your power wire for the display unit, or what # fuse? Also how did you make your connections to the reverse taillights? (T-Taps?, etc)
