Hello All

Well I would just like to say hi. I have just purchased an 05 F-150 xlt ext. cab with the 5.4. Love the truck and as soon as I get pics I will post them. I just have a quick question. If I where to put a leveling kit on the front end and an exhaust and intake, would that void my warrenty?
Thanks,
Chris

Hey welcome to the site. I do believe it wont void your warranty but if something were to go wrong on your truck and you take it in and they find that the lift or aftermarket part was at fault they wont warranty the problem. But they could still fix it anyway...I have an intake and an exhaust and my injector was ticking. I took it into the dealer and regardless of the aftermarket parts they still fixed it.

If you have an extended warranty, I'd stay away from the intake mod. They will be able to blame any type of engine failure on that. No matter what. And they will. Without a doubt.
What's left of the origional factory warranty is prolly almost up, so if this is what you have, get ready to mod away.........

Welcome, and enjoy the new truck!!

Thanks guys. What I have is 10,000 miles left on the factory warrenty and then its a Blue oval certified truck and the drive train is covered until 75000. So I dont know if the exhaust would kill that or not. I guess the intake is out, but it is defiently gettin the levelin kit and exhaust, hopefully, and a spray in liner. Are there any recalls out on these trucks that I should look into thinking of it.
Thanks,
Chris
