Remember, there's a difference between Line Of Fire and "White Lightning / Fire & Ice. Only the latter has white lights when in reverse.

Not positive on that...

I would guess that you'd have to tap your reversing lights as there's not a pin in the harness for reverse lights -- at least I don't think that there is...

Other than that, yes...

I ordered the line of fire LED strip ( w/out white rev lights) and had them for about 3 months.

I had a two problems with it.

1. It came in Three pieces and not one piece like the instructions on the website read.
2. We had a few days of rain and they fogged up.

I tried to fix them, but when i pulled them off i accidentally pulled a wire out and when i tried to solder it back it wouldnt work, but that was my fault for pulling the wires not the units. I called F150store.com because i was going to order another one because i really liked the look, but i wasnt going to get another one if it was 3 pieces. If you look on the website for the Line of Fire strip it shows in the instructions as being 1 piece so he said he would email me if what they sent me was wrong in the first place, yet he never replied.

I got one from Auto Zone. Its not the "Line of Fire", its the Street Glow brand, but does the EXACT same thing, and it was only about $35.

According to the note on the web site I just ordered mine from, "minor wiring will be needed for the backup light portion." I take that to mean that I'll have to tap on wire into the backup light circuit. Again, not having seen the actual unit yet, I'm assuming it comes with the standard "flat 4" connector which only gives you running, stop and turn lights. If they had the new flat 5, that would include the backup lights, but most folks don't know what this is yet. Since I'll be cutting off the connector and hard wiring the whole deal, this won't be an issue.

Yes,you will have to tap into the reverse wire on the trailer connector(if you have it).

Here's an dumb question (hey, at least I'm honest!)

I love the look of the line-of-fire BRAKE light function, but I **hate** the turn signal function. I could live with the parking light, I guess.

Is there a way to wire it **JUST** to the brake function??

If you are good with wiring you can wire it up just for a brake light. It dosent come out of the box with that function, im pretty positive it comes out of the box with a trailer harness plug.
