Tinted Windows 15% (before and after pics)

30% windshield and I just told them to match the fronts with the factory backs, think they said it was around 15% for the fronts. It makes a WORLD of difference in the HOT sun. My car cools off so fast its incredible.

I was really scared driving at night would be terrible, but its not even bad at all. People that get in my car that aren't looking for it really don't even notice. I love it. I'll take some pics of the inside soon and post them.

What you guys think?

Any chance you can re-format your pics so we don't have to do a major scroll from left-to-right?

I think you need to quit calling your truck a car.

They will ticket you in a heartbeat in KY for having a fully tinted windshield.

PS... they stuck you for $10.

They can not "remove front window factory tint" unless they swapped windows because it is integral to the glass.. not just stuck on like aftermarket tint.

If you had anything that could be removed it was either a dealer installed tint or perhaps from a previous owner if you bought used.

I wouldn't exactly say that. My wife works at a dealership and a good majority of their cars gets taken to the tint shop to get them at legal darkness. So it's possible he had aftermarket tint already and didn't know it.

I believe I said that...........

but factory tint is integral to the glass. 100% irrefutable fact.

Where the heck are you at? Not in Lexington I guess. My neighbor has a 2007 SRT Charger and tinted w/ 5% ALL the way around, including the front winshield! Looks great, but there is no way in hell I'd do that.

You are right it is illegal, but so is carrying an Ice cream cone in your pocket. I have had 15% on my old ford for 7 years and never had a problem one. Guess you have got either picky cops, or in a small town.

Don't get pulled over for speeding and don't travel to the western end of the state if you want to keep your tint.

State troopers are just as bad around here about writing for illegal tint as the local police are.

15% they may let you slide on unless you were pulled over for excessive speeding but having the windshield fully tinted would probably get you pulled over by the first cop you passed around here.

Looks good...I wish we could do it here in CA...thats a negative. The only ones that seem to get away with it are the Stars, Athletes, Rich Bastards or those that dont care about fix it tickets every other week.

Looks great though, I was thinking of doing it to my truck, but not sure I want to deal with it.
