Thanks to a member on this forum I was able to purchase his slightly used 5100's. Does any one have any instructions on where all the pieces parts. I see that the silver spacer goes over the C-clip to catch the factory spring purch but what is the order of all the other parts i.e. metal spacer, rubber spacer, brass colored cap. Also what was the out come on the direction of the black boot on the rears facing up or facing down. Thanks for your help with my stupidity.

I'm sorry, I'm no help I paid to hav a shop install the front 5100's. I don't have the box or the instructions. I can take a picture of them installed if that will help?

 

From the bottom up - c-clip, silver ring, stock spring seat, bronze colored cap, bump stop, rubber spacer, metal spacer, stock spring, stock urethane spacer and metal cap, new top screw...and put it back in the truck.

take them to get installed... belive me there a PITA to install. took me 2days to install. theyll charge u from 50-80 to install.

 

you would be lucky to get charged 50-80 for the whole install... 50 is about how much it costs to mount the struts into the coil assembly... btw if you want to use the leveling snap ring, you probably should take that in, it requires much compression to compress the coil for it to mount onto the +2" snapring... and that much compression idunno i wouldnt trust hand held compressor
