2008 F-150 details....

Looks as if they released the details on the 08's. No powertrain changes so i would assume they will in 09...The new 22's will be interesting to see on the lariat limited version. And i didnt see this posted before and since the future models are for 2009-future dont tell me it belongs there.

Enjoy

According to pickuptruck.com , the 08's will come with a standard cargo management system on all 6.5 beds, & all 08's will have a backup camera mounted on the tailgate release handle, & the video screen will be on the rear view mirror, pretty cool........

No...thats why they are an OPTION.

Hell I remember when the biggest wheel available on a F150 was a 15....so I guess you could say are 17s really necessary.

The camera showing up in the mirror is a GREAT idea...but hopefully there is an override button so you can kick it off if you dont want it. It would be nice if the camera would catch the view of the hitch for backing up to trailers. Thus a guy wouldnt have to get out 3 or 4 times to get it perfect. (yes ive been lucky and got it on the first try but lets face it, doesnt happen often )

Here are the 2008 Lariat Limited specs, sounds pretty cool:

The Limited Package adds a special flair to the Lariat SuperCrew and features a custom White Sand Metallic, monochromatic paint scheme and unique features inside and out including:

*Body colored front and rear bumpers, fascia, wheel lip moldings, door handle bezels with chrome strap and a billet-style grille accented with a chrome surround.
*Deluxe mirrors with body color skullcaps.
*22-inch polished, forged aluminum wheels with painted accents and special Limited identification.
*Four-inch polished, stainless steel tubular running boards and chrome exhaust tip.
*Dark Shadow Gray headlamps and smoked taillamps.
*Two-tone leather captain’s chairs, leather steering wheel and shift ****.
*Accent color on console lid; door panel.
*Unique instrument cluster face.

It seems like Ford is putting all the mods on it like some of us have already been doing for the past few years, like the LT handles, Roush billet style grille, FX2 headlamps, Harley tails, etc.....

Yeah.

I'm guessing that they don't read our forums either. LOL! Wonder where they've been getting ideas? *shrugs*

I also posted earlier this month about the "limited" and new features. But to add to this thread, I also saw info about the FX2 being offered as a Flareside in 2008.

... and I would have to ask how you're helping the situation.

Come on, Thump... don't rattle cages just to cause a problem.

I'm just being an honest man, I can't help it. But, instead of getting on me you should be getting on the person who's every single damn post is negative and stinks. I'm not trying to cause a problem but just point out a problem.

PS: Take me off your damn hit list.

Rather than attacking them, bring them to my attention. It's not like you don't know how to get a hold of me (PM/AIM/Email/ETC!).

Flaming causes problems. I'm far from in a mood to deal with problems... haven't been in that mood in quite a while and, as such, I'm a little shorter fused than 'usual'.

So, in mathmatical terms:

Short Fused Moderator + General Stupidity = Ban

Ban X 3 + Days = 3-Day Ban = Ban

Therefore:

General Stupidity + Short Fused Moderator = 3-Day Ban

*sighs*
