Ford Partner X Plan

Does anyone have any experience using the Ford Partner X Plan option when purchasing a new vehicle? I qualify but haven't gone in yet to see what the discount is. I have been told the discount is below invoice and you still get the rebate. Anyone's experience is appreciated.

If you qualify for Xplan pricing then you can get into the ford xplan website and access everything you need to know.

X-Plan Price = Dealer Invoice - 0.4% of Invoice + $75 Administration
(X-Plan = Invoice - 0.4% + $75)

Ford employees access the AXZ site through www.axz.ford.com. I'm not sure if suppliers/vendors of Ford that are in the X-Plan partner use the same site; you need a name & pw to login.

If you are eligible for X-plan I suggest you use it. It's a big savings off MSRP and yes you do still get all the rebates. Plus, you don't have to price haggle with X-plan; the price will be the same at any Ford dealer within the same region.

NOTE: One thing to be aware of with A or X plan is that Ford requires all their dealerships to sell vehicles to A and X plan customers at the A or X plan price which is not negotiable. The reason for this is so that the price will be the same no matter what dealer you go to. What can be different from dealer to dealer is the APR you're offered because the APR does not affect the price of the vehicle... only the monthly payment. (Yes, even lease vehicles have an APR.) So if you are an A or X plan customer I suggest you shop your local dealers for a good financing APR.

We used it twice.

My employer gave us the weblink to fordpartners.com and an access code. The site seems to be down now. A quick search gave me this http://www.myxplan.com/ Not the actual site but does have some info.

ANYONE can get the Xplan. Buy a single share of Ford, and then contact investor relations. We've done it. No big deal. Cost you about $4 now.
