Clutch Question

This is in the wrong forum I know but everyone here is extremely knowledgable so I Figured i'd give it a run. I Just picked up a small pickup truck for my daily driver yesterday. It is a 5 speed with 2.2L 4Cyl. Sometimes when I go to crank I have to pump the clutch to the floor and back up to make it start.

In other words:
If i depress the clutch and it doesn't start, I then release it and push it back down and it starts.

I know nothing about clutches as this is the first 5-speed i've owned. Is this a loose wire in the starter or a bad connection? Or something else?

I can almost guarantee that its the clutch start switch in the S-10 you're driving (or one of it's variants).

I was thinking something along those lines. Do you know how difficult it is to install another one?

Update: Just replaced the clutch start switch. Picked it up from NAPA for like 30 bucks. Still has the same problem. Won't start but with a pump of the clutch once or twice it will start

That doesnt make it right to post it here. Just because you are aware you are shooting the president, does not make it ok to shoot him. Unless its Bush
