Ebay

I bought my lock actuator off of Ebay for $12 including shipping.

This is a nice addition ot the truck if you have a tonneau cover. I feel like I have a giant trunk.

It will take some time to get used to having to hit the unlock button when you get out of the truck to take stuff out of the bed. The first few times I went to the dump, I got out, went 'round back, pulled the handle and felt stupid that I had to go back to the door to unlock the tailgate.

try a local truck accessory shop. they might have them for the lids/caps that use e-locks in them, then you dont have to wait on shipping. i know we use them where i work and have a couple laying around. just ask for an actuator for an e-lock for a cap/lid and they'll know what you're talking about

I am willing to bet a local stereo/alarm shop will have some also if you need one now. I actually threw a couple away last year but now I want one for the exact same reason.

I hate pack rattin' but I guess I should have kept em now.

Slick-

Yes, it wires into the PDL. The handle and keyed lock work fine. This is just nice to have so you can lock and unlock the tailgate with the remote. You don't have to check if it's locked or unlocked going into a store or wherever. You know it's locked.
