i hate this crap... i keep having my AC go out... it wont turn on anymore... has anyone had this issue?

 

Yes in my 2004 but it was just a matter of pulling the bezel and disconnecting and reconnecting the wires to the back.

 

my ac compressor wouldn't kick on the past couple months. system was empty. took it in to a shop had them evacuate the system and then fill it back up again with dye and r134 to check for leaks. turns out there was a leak at the high pressure switch. i paid $16 for the switch(ford dealer), and my system works fine now.

your first step might be to check if you have r134 in your system. if you don't you need to find where it is leaking from.
