Low Power Steering Fluid??

I checked my PS fluid the other day and noticed it was reading below the minimum line, today I added fluid to the correct level.
Question, is that normal for that to happen so quickly? My truck is an 06 with just over 13k on it. Other vehicles I have owned never needed any fluid at all or so soon.
BTW I have checked the rack & hoses and see no signs of any leaks.

I had to add power steering fluid to my 2005 for the first 3 oil changes. The dealership says it is normal because it is displacing any air in the system. I noticed it stayed full after about 11,000 miles.
