Well I decided that I should probably pipe my exhaust out the side so that the fumes don't damage my underside. I went to a local exhaust place and told him to send it out the side and make it so I could take it off, in the event it was too loud or I need to get an inspection. Here is how it came out.

He welded a screw to drop bracket so that it doesn't sag. If I get tired of it I can just unscrew it and undo the clamps and back to glasspack or whatever I want to weld in place of the glasspack. It is a little quieter in the cab. It is more focused inside though. I opened the passenger door because he wanted to hear it, I reach in turn it on and start it and he nodds his head in approval. I reved it up and he covered his ears lol. I will get some clips soon. Someone remind Pat.

I want exhaust out the side like that.

So there is no muffler or anything, just a pipe straight back?

I might have to try something like that exhaust wise. Should be damn cheap thats for sure.
Did you notice any power loss?

I noticed power loss on my truck when i ran open Y. I ran 1/3 second slower at the track too But i cant speak for the newer truck, all though Edward does have a 4.6 so he isnt a 3v motor... so who knows, i dont think he reported power loss, but with his big *** truck it would be hard to notice a little power loss too...

Yeah that the thing, I dont know what to do with exhaust.
On my old 4six I had true duals and it sounded awsome, but I definatley lost some power.

I really want this new truck to sound like that, but Im not sure how to withough the power loss. Seems like its hard to have a nice sounding, louder exhaust without even a small small drop in power

Normally not a big fan of the tips coming out in front of the wheel but that looks really good.

I'm not either! I just felt like doing and I haven't really spent much money lately on my truck I decided to do it. I don't think I lost any power going open y. I am not sure about this setup yet.

Pat I saw your new facial hair on facebook lol. My hair isn't 4" long! We ned to get some clips tomorrow!

What is the size of that tip, coming out the side? I am thinking of doing the same thing.
