Brighter Back Up Lights.

Has anybody tried to change their reverse light blubs for something brighter? I can't see anything in back of my truck in the dark. Between the tinted windows and smoked taillights its basically blind backing up. I need some HID reverse lights

I had tried some LED bulbs out for the same thing but got tired of them real quick, kinda a ricey look so I put my stock bulbs in. Doesn't your truck have reverse sensors? I dont even really look back anymore, I rely on them alot, I know its bad but I have double 5% in the rear and 5% in the front windows, so i cant see anyhting at night unless I role my windows down. But as soon as I get my Screen back from Pioneer (Repairs) Im gonna order a camera that swith to NV at night, Just a thought

No reverse sensors on my truck, thats one option it didn't have oddly enough. I'm thinking I might try some of those spider LED lights. They'll look kinda funny, but they'll only be on when my trucks in reverse so I can live with that. I had blue reverse lights in my old truck, I should be used to not seeing anything haha.

Search for back up lights, a lot of people have added AUX reverse lights that turn on when you put your truck in reverse. A lot brighter than changing bulbs and a lot cheaper than HID

Aux reverse lights would be nice but I don't really want to mount them anywere on my truck. They wouldn't really fit in or my Harley Davidson anywere. I'm on the hunt for bright blubs today.

I saw a '05 Chevy Silverado with White Night Rear Lighting System about a month ago at a local mall and couldn't believe the light it gave out while he was reversing.

I'm seriously considering buying a set as soon as I can see how they look mounted on one of our trucks.

That reminds me. There is the Fire and Ice light bar that goes between the bumper and the tailgate.

I'm planning on getting the White Knight kit, it's a pretty clean set-up.

I'm pretty sure they don't put out much light in terms of aiding in backup only making your vehicle more visible to other drivers.

I added these to my truck last weekend to give better lighting when backing into a dark driveway or when hooking up a trailer at night.

I mounted the lights last weekend and I'll finish wiring it tomorrow after work (I've had zero time this past week to do it). If anybody's interested I'll post more pics when it's done (even if no one is interested I'm starting a thread anyway ).

Supposedly the white leds put out a lot of light.

Hmm, some members here have said otherwise but I can't say for sure because I've never seen one in reverse before.

Maybe I am missing something but with that whitenight setup how do they have pics of it in use with a trailer hooked up as well? Doesnt it use the receiver as a mount? Man I hope im not missing something that obvious.
