Aftermarket Driving/Fogs lights?

hey people, im think about adding some driving lights to my truck behind the grill. what are some good companies that make a good lamp kit, i was looking at hella and KC, PIAA seems to expensive..

im gonna be throwing some HIDs into the housing, does the lamp size matter?

I need a lamp the size of 3" X 6.5" X 5"

i personally went with PIAA because i lived in south america and i've been to europe and ive seen them there, and also i have heard most from PIAA especially in rallys and/or bajas... so i went with popularity idk thats just me, anyways i found it as a great buy

Just some food for thought. My KC Slimlites are sealed and the bulb cannot be changed out easily without cracking the case. This would ruin the watertightness and most likely result in that dreaded moisture-in-the-lens condition. Not sure about these other KC lights. You might want to check on this from the manufacturer before buying.

I had the 150 watt KC Daylighters in my other truck. Mounted in a PIAA lower valance. Never had any problems with them with several years of use.

I think any of the big name light manufacturers will be a safe bet.

I had the KC Daylighters for 2 years. they worked great and still looked good when I sold the truck.

Plus, you can get the yellow smiley faces that protect the lens. I used to love putting the Lens cover on and turning the lights on. It freaks people out when they see 2 glowing smiley faces coming down the road.
