Bolt-on driveshaft safety loops for 2004-UP Screw 4x4 .

I am trying to avoid more custom work on my truck and would like to know if there are any companies making a bolt-on driveshaft safety loops for 2004-UP Screw 4x4 trucks.

It would probably cost the same to make one ($60-80) than to buy one already made so I doubt they're made but I'm sure if they are made, someone will chime in. Good luck Rafa.

Much cheaper than 60 bucks. If you find a company though, I would be interested.

Thanks Josiah, truck is up again but the asphalt is wet.

Some says universal but they aren't made especifically for my truck dude.

is it just me or is that an exhaust pipe and not a driveshaft. also what is to keep the driveshaft from beating on your floor if it lets loose?

I don't know...maybe. I'd have to see wider shot

the wieght of the driveshaft and gravity will keep it mostly riding in the loop. the body of the truck might get a little damage, but trust me, you'd rather that than the driveshaft dropping and catching on the road. that does ALOT of damage.

That puny driveshaft loop isn't going to do a thing if the shaft actually breaks.
