Oil Which weight and how much?

Ok so I am planning on picking up some oil on my way home for an oil change. Can anyone tell me what the factory recommended oil weight and how many quarts I will need? Thanks for any help.

Grab a Motorcraft filter as well, don't use a Fram.

I prefer olive to corn. It's a personal preference though.

Yes but if you need to do any real deep-frying, you need peanut.

Try Walmart - MC oil & filters .. there's gotta be Walmart somewhere near you

If you must that's also what the dealer sells...

Hey Thump, not to hijack the thread, but why no Fram? I've used them pretty consistently in all my trucks and never had a problem. Have you had some bad experiences? I'd like to make my truck last, so if Fram's not the way to go please let me know.

I used a Fram, and it was the nice model, on my 2004 F150. I'd get horrible valve train clatter at start up, probally due to a crappy anti-drainback valve. I've never had a problem with the Motorcraft filter so I'm sticking to what I know best!

yeah, as thumper pointed out, the anti-drainback valve on the the fram filters aren't the best right now...i also used fram a lot--for 11 years on my last pickup with excellent results, but it was a different beast

the mc filters are great quality and hard to beat for the price, but i also like wix a lot
