Hi All,
Getting to be brake replacement time for my truck (05 Screw) and I wanted to ask you all how difficult it will be to replace the pads. I have done the job before on a few other vehicles but this will be the first on this truck. If I get simple OEM replacements is it a tough job, do i need to worry about buying the little clips, etc?

i dont see any reason how they would be any more difficult than any other vehicle... i cant remember if the new pads came with the little clips or if i reused the old ones but i didnt buy anything seperately LOL
and as always, if you can pry off the calipers and push in the caliper pistons without disconnecting the brake lines, you will save yourself having to bleed the brakes. i use a flat head screwdriver to carefully pry off the caliper and a c-clamp to depress the pistons. of course you have to leave the lid of the brake fluid resevoir while doing this.

Really you shouldn't have any problems.Just use a small c-clamp to open caliper easily.It's according to the brand and quailty of pads that you are changing to whether they will have the clips or not, also remember some of the better pads do not use any tacky on the back to stop squeaking.Be sure and clean rotors goodwith brake cleaner.
Do a search on brake dust and you will find hundreds of posts about replacing brakes, many of us including myself have replaced the factory brakes well before needed due to the large amount of dust they put off.
The most popular choices I have seen are Carquest Blue pads and Wagner Thermoquite which is what I have, when I replaced mine no clips or springs came with them (brakes) you just reuse the existing, as another person said don't use disc brake quite spray or goo. Total time was about 45 minutes.
