Any one know what is under the Black boot on the steering arm? I am looking to make me a hyme steering set up but want to know whats under that boot befor I tear into it? Is is a u joint or what it has to be somthing that allows up and down movenment but what is it, a picture is worth a thousand words.

 

Josiah you replaced your rack didnt you? did you take off the boots to see whats under?
