Georgians with aftermarket exhausts

Hey- I have just accepted a job in ATL so will be moving down there with the 150...

but, I'm running the Roush Offroad exh. will I pass GA emissions control?

sooo, Georgian's could you list your systems, and any problems you have encountered with the state?

Thanks,
Justin

If you've still got the cats, you'll be fine. As I understand, all they do is check your truck for codes and make sure all the emissions gear is still there. 98Navi lives in that area, he can tell you better than I, I live about two hours south of ATL.

I think the Roush offroad exhaust is dubbed as such for the loudness it makes, not the exhaust emissions, but this has been covered already so nevermind.

I work out that way ...

My 1999 F150 had true dual exhaust with no mufflers on it when I sold it .. passed emissions fine. All they do here is check to see if you're throwing any emissions related codes and test the pressurization of your fuel cap (or something, they hook your cap up to something and get a number out of it...go figure) Never had a problem with that truck.

My 2005 has a Magnaflow cat-back exhaust, and I'm sure it will pass fine. I still have another year to go before it's required to be tested.

mufflers don't do anything for emmissions. if you have cats then you'll pass.

1 1/2 hours from atl isn't really atl. could be close to macon or could be close to north ga
