If your going to go with one of them, definitely go with the Roush. The lunds didn't look to bad on the old body style due to the rounded look, but with the new body style they look out of place..

The Roush has more of the flat look that compliments the 04+ better.

Anyone else have some Rousch scoop pics? I know this has been covered 10X but, can someone explain the way that the scoof affixes to the hood? Is it just 3M tape?

the scoop has cutouts on the interior flange. you have to sort of stretch the scoop around the bolts and it will lock in place. the edges of the scoop are secured with the 3m tape just to ensure a snug fit on all of the edges. i think this is how the factory scoops on the previous mustang gt's were installed as well.

you are left with a seamless scoop that looks more factory than any other bolt/stick on scoop

I think the Roush hoodscoop is the best hood besides the Saleen hood.

But, I'll say it again. I don't think I'd ever put a Lund product on my truck!

Ugh... so, it's permanent with no return from the sounds of it? That or remove it and live with 3M tape goo and 4 holes in the hood.

I like the look but, that spooks me.

yeah basically. you can get the double sided tape and residue off with some solvent and elbow grease, but yeah you will have 4 1/8" holes...

and yeah there are a few hoods that i would rather have than the scoop, but i just cant justufy spending that kind of cash on it... the roush scoop is the best bang for the buck

Kind of the boat that I'm in with this decision...

Honestly, I'm not sure that the two tone will jive with the scoop... but, maybe I'm reading too much into it.

I've had the Roush scoop on for 2 years this July. It's been in 120 degree heat, 60 below zero cold, 140+ mph runs, and through quite a few wash cycles. I didn't drill the holes in my hood, just used the tape. I think I've pretty much hit every extreme short of having some large blunt object hit it straight on, so I'd feel comfortable installing it the same way again.

Just my 2 cents on drilling holes in your hood.
