FX2 Grill

For anyone that has replaced there stock grill with a FX2 grill, have you noticed that The surround seems to be shorter than the previous one. I just picked mine up from the painter earlier and installed it. It might just be me, but it seems as though there is more space between the bottom of the surround to the bumper.

No, just snapped the two together and bolted her in. Just wanted to make sure it was normal. At least it leave a big enough gap for me to clean now.

I noticed that too but I couldn't remember the gap between the old grill to know if I was crazy or not.

I just went out and looked it over some more, and it seems that there is a bigger gap on the sides as well. Talking about between the headlights and the surround. I love the looks of this grill so i guess that I will jus have to get used to it.
