I think the new BBK are a lot better than Troyer's because instead of 2 the kit has 3 pieces (water pump, crankshaft and alternator) and they use aluminum instead of iron which makes them lighter, just another reason to free up more HP. For around $150 i don't think that's a bad deal.

No doubt the BBK kit is superior:

1) Aluminum instead of iron (a lot lighter).
2) Cheaper.
3) 3 peaces instead of 2 (extra one for alternator).
4) Polished aluminum (looks a lot nicer).
