True, but kinda hard to get your family into viper, corvette, or any other number of similar vehicles. Kinda goes with the territory...that's kind of the point I think? The wife and kids probably aren't much into hitting the turns hard on canyon roads and doing 120 on the interstate either. I'm just saying it's not the best platform for the job, though probably the most marketable. It's a compromise, and that's OK I guess, but all things being equal, if you do the same mods to regular vs. larger cab truck it seems obvious which one is going to perform better...on the road anyway... performance in the dealership is another matter... I just wish someone had made a real fire breathing regular cab performance truck...like the lightening. Maybe in 2009...

Good point, but I think the market in more in tune for a performance modded truck that can seat 4 comfortably. Lot easier to sell a truck with 450+ hp and get more than two people in it. Kind of hard to justify having two trucks, one for towing the boat and getting the family to the lake, and another for just "driving fast". Cars do that much better anyway.

Hey McDover,
RWTD do a good job with your truck? I recently purchased an F-150 that already has some power, but I want more. RWTD is close,1hr away, and I've heard many good things about them. Anyway, just asking for more input.
