I hate chrome.. I laugh at the guys f150 on my street... its a blue 04 screw xlt on chrome 24s with chrome door handles, mirror covers, grill, sidesteps and b-pillars. it looks uber tacky with all that chrome going on. it would look soooo muck better if the chrome was kept in check with some PTM parts like PTM mirror caps, PTM LT handles, and just leave the chrome to the wheels grill and bumpers. It looks like the guy opened up a catalog and went bonkers ordering random chrome parts

pick a theme and keep it subtle

Please don't jump the gun with all that chrome. It can be embarrassing.

I don't know why you guys keep saying ALL that chrome...

there are 3 things on my list with chrome, the tails, to match the handles, to match the mirrors, to match the front grill.

It all ties in without being ridiculous. I may pass on the caps and wait it out for a paint to match solution. What about getting the chrome caps and getting them painted to match?

OMG - ALL that Chrome !

Y'know, I think it's a Canuckian thing - up here, beavers & other rodents collect shiney things & replace 'em with rocks'n stuff

Drink the water and ... well ... bling-itis happens.

I don't drink the water

Listen to yer peers, cowboy - go easy on the jewellery. Nice 3rd b-lite, though.

Cheers
bubba
~Ooooooo - shiney !!!~

just go easy on the chrome, get PTM mirror caps instead and mark LT handles. just remember a little chrome goes a long way... and remember that this isn't a 1955 bell air

If you like it and you're paying for it, knock yourself out. I think what some of these guys and girl are saying is do it tastefully. I saw a Jeep Liberty in town today that went completely overboard. Had all the chrome light covers, about 9 lights on the front end, and that god awful chrome stripping over every single edge of the doors. I love seeing people who went down the accessory aisle at the local store and bought everything that fits, they could of just got the "EEDIOT" or "Compensating" plate or bumper sticker. (not saying that's what you're doing) Just gets to be too after a certain point.

Baby steps ... get what you want the most ... maybe one or two items. You don't have to do it all in one weekend. You'll only end up going through modding withdrawals when you don't have anything else to chrome ... er, I mean do.

It's more than twice the price, but you might consider the RECON LED White Lightning (Fire and Ice) light bar. Having that extra bit of reverse light can't hurt!

You must feed the mod bug or you will pay a heavy price
